It's awful to lose a game in the lottery of a penalty shoot out, especially when your team play so well, it was a hell of a game. Keep the faith with your team and management and you will be in the promotion mix again next season.

Thanks, great game with two good teams, real football for 120 minutes.
Such a shame it had to be decided by panalties.
Good luck in the final.

What a fantastic night, and yes I'm a Huddersfield supporter, but I must just say how fantastic you were Bournemouth. Four matches, four draws, and two Managers who were even hugging each other during the game. Eat your heart out whinging Sir Alex, this is how football should be. Sure we seem to have a bit more money than you, but we'll never recapture the real glory days because we simply can't afford it. A night to remember for us all I hope, even if you didn't win. We of course have a step further to go, but I really, really hope we get out of there this year, the money won't be available forever. lol 87 points would have got us promoted automatically in the last 10 years, but having said that there were two better teams than us, as my son keeps reminding me.
Good luck for next season, and wish us well for the 29th. Ziggy

Cheers Ziggy.

For me last night was such a great advert for L1 football. Both teams and both sets of fans were a credit both on and off the pitch. Despite the result I actually came away quite content and proud to have been a part of a memorable night.

The only people who should be hanging their heads in shame today are the match officials - respect - no chance until we get competence and consistency!

Well done last night, I for one will be cheering you on on the 29th :-D

Thanks Ziggy, as it's been said before last night was a fantastic advert for league football, had several emails and facebook comments from friends in Canada & USA, all commiserating with me but full of praise for both teams, for 120 mins of drama. They'll all be cheering for you in the final. So good luck to the Terriers on the 29th have a great day it will be 1 you remember for along time what ever the result, hope it's the right 1 for you.

Thanks all. I actually thought the ref was quite good, though he shouldn't have sent your guy off. Far too harsh, but not sure what difference it would have made to penalties, don't know if he was designated to take one? It certainly made no difference to us with only 5 minutes to go, maybe you could have got a winner in that time but who really knows. I'm a Town fan that doesn't live in the area anymore, get to half a dozen games a season, but the last time I was a regular was when Frank Worthington played for them, back in the early 70s. I live in the North East Stockton on Tees, but will be booking my ticket for the final on Sunday morning, as soon as it opens at 9.30am. lol. Can't really imagine Peterborough will want as many as us, and Old Trafford is only 25 miles from Hudders, so we shoulkd have the best support. Not over confident though, they are prolific goalscorers, and we only got 1 point off them this season. Still looking forward to a great day out.

Just been reading through comment on different pages on here.
You are RIGHTLY PROUD of your team. It was a great game, played at high tempo by 2 commited TEAMS. no FANCY DANS just proper full blooded football.
I also think your guy was UNLUCKY to see RED
and KEVIN KILBANE was LUCKY to see YELLOW.

bmb I would also like to comment about your fans when we visited on saturday. we enjoyed a bit of banter in the car park (with one of your fans even offering to sing us a song at Old Trafford) Glad that isnt the case.

GOOD LUCK Next season hope you finish in Automatic (Behind us of course if we fail on sunday)
I am currently waiting for an e-mail so I can join the chat on main site rather than as a guest.
