Large car park (pay and display ) right next to the ground, can be a bit of a pig to get out of afterwards tho. Safe trip down and look forward to a good game

Cheers Skier:) No rush after match. Just a stupidly early time to start.
At least we dont have to work day after like your fans will after a late night finish in sunny Yorkshire next week.:(

Well done Skier. I did a midweek to Plymouth in my younger days ( about 1980 ish). Got home about 5 had a shower, breakfast, then to work for 6.30 to 2.30 shift. I drove both ways and slept from about 4.30 night after till 5.15 when I got up for work again. And we LOST. The things we do to support our teams. Are we all mad.

As a guest on here I cant get onto other forum pages But can you tell Yorkshire Bee. Tickets for next wed are on open sale up here. As long as he doesnt mind sitting with us. And our plod and stewards are quite helpful he may be able to get a transfer to away end.
Also would be good to know how many tickets have we let you have Away end here holds circa 4000. And I doubt if we will sell out all 24,000 stadium. Although if we win we will prob have 30,000+ wanting final tickets. At 11am this am wed. 11/5 we had sold 5000+ for home leg and 1100+ for Saturday.

OH 2 BE A TERRIER

I believe we have been given around 2400 tickets. Don't expect us to bring more than 1000/1200 in reality, long trip, midweek, a lot won't get the time off of work. Some will also wait until after the game on Saturday before deciding! Blatantly told my son's school he'll not be at school Weds & Thurs next week as we're at the play off semi's :-D He was only 18 months at our last playoff outing so doesn't remember it. Deputy head not impressed as he can't do the same!

Home end virtually sold out on Sunday for this week. By Monday it was hard to get 2/3 tickets together so looks like we'll have heaps of those damn day trippers that then sit there telling you how long they have supported the team and how often they come to watch etc etc until you point out not only are they sat amongst several ST holders who have never seen them before but we are actually the team in red and no Ted Mac isn't playing he retired 73 years ago   Home sell out was announced on Monday.

Thanks for your offer for Yorkie. I've been able to source him a ST that won't be used, the guy can't get the time off, so he can borrow it to sort out a ticket. Got to look after the regulars ahead of the daytrippers!

Decent amount coming down on Saturday - should make it a good atmosphere. Have a safe trip down.

4.45 pm today only 100 left for sat so thats 1233 coming already.we shud sell out.
sold 8300 for wed. we will prob have a poor gate next week.

I wish it wasnt on telly then bystanders(daytrippers as you call em) would have to get out of their armchairs and boost the crowd. I bet they will all want to go to OT even if it is on box.

Looking foward to it. and reading your forums neither of our teams are afraid of each other hopefully 2 good games.

Fantastic effort :happy::happy:

We had 700 unclaimed ST seats go for general sale but I anticipate they will be snapped up rather sharply. Not bad for L1 with the games being on TV the crowd will be around the £10k mark at both games.

Personally I'd rather the daytrippers stay at home and watch on TV!! Last one of them we had in our bit - every 2nd word was F, in the flippin family stand! Now I'm no prude and expect a fair bit of swearing at football but not in the family stand. I take my little one in there so he doesn't have to hear it and the guy was OTT. Didn't take to kindly to being told actually that's Danny Hollands NOT Matt Holland - we sold the latter in 94 followed by and actually that's Anton Robinson not Steve and Liam Feeney not Warren - the latter were white, the current 2 mixed race... :hammer: Still bless he had supported us all his life and paid the players wages by being there, even if he didn't know who they were...

Don't get me wrong I don't mind newbies, I accept we were all newbies once upon a time and those that come along to their first few games and don't know players etc. it's those who came along in the last week or so who've not been near since Cardiff 03 or Wembley, probably the only games they have ever been to, and claim to be lifelong fans but know nothing about the team that annoy me!!

Agree BMB a great effort. :)
Looks like we will top 10k next wed. FB says we sold 9800 but dont know if that includes H & A or just ours. At 3.15pm (Last update) we had 96 left for sat. but no space on coaches and train is expensive at £96. so probably wont sell all those. : (
Hope we have a Good Match with a Friendly(in a competitive way) Rocking atmosphere.
Hope no "silly" refereeing decisions.
Hope the BEST TEAM WINS (cos I know we R Best) LOL
Cheers and Speak again b4 2nd game

Hey BMB just seen your name as a moderator. does that mean you are the "censor dept" who keeps these pages "clean" and within the said "guidelines". and I am impressed with this forum service dont know anything about ours ( or even if we have one). We tend to use FB or TWITTER

Yep I'm one of the admin. It's Stu's site and he made me admin as back up for himself. We'll ignore the fact most of the swearing and mischief making round here is at my hands

To be honest we need very little moderation on this forum. The vitals site is the bigger one and can be a bit of a nightmare on there at times. We're a lot smaller but have a decent crowd of regulars including a resident bee and a resident saints fan! We tend to attract the glass half full types over here so it's more positive, less arguing and if anyone does get out of hand the regulars have normally kicked their butt before Stu or I even get here! :-D

Just been arranging a pre match drink on twitter!

Saints fan here in peace.

Been listening to the playoffs, and they are such fun. Second leg happening now, and I've been trying to decide who to support in this one. Terriers have been pushing Saints all season, and they deserve to be where they are, but I can't help it, I want AFC Bournemouth to win the one. My head says Huddersfield, but my heart says Bournemouth.

Come on you Cherries..!

What a Brilliant finish to a good game. Thought we had blown it at 3-2 but they just dont know when they are beaten and carry on til the end. Good Luck next year AFCB. We hope you go up ( sorry COME up) to join stains and hopefully HTFC.
